Getting yourself the body of your dreams is no piece of cake. It’s true that many people have lost weight and are now completely happy with how their look. But you need to know that this doesn’t happen overnight and can’t be done with a snap of your fingers. In today’s society, you’ll increasing find people who can’t muster up any patience. They just won’t commit to making the changes necessary for changing their body. What happens in that case? They try a diet pill or fad diet that prays on their desire to lose weight without effort.
Research is now showing that seeminly successful, rapid weight loss due to dieting is not really caused by burning fat. What is happening is that the person is losing water weight. They may be excited by the initial weight loss, but will soon be disappointed to find that water weight is gained back very quickly. So when you really think about it, they aren’t losing weight at all. Don’t be fooled by gimmicky diet pills. You can’t lose weight without effort. All that happens to your body is dehydration. Under normal and healthy circumstances, the body will only lose about 2-3 lbs a week.
Another popular weight loss fat is slimming soap. The packaging will say stuff like “made of rare herbs”, “special Chinese seaweed” etc. to pull you in. They claim to emulsify fat through the skin. There are even specialized soaps which claim to remove cellulite. It’s true that the ingredients in these soaps may beautify your skin and improve the skin’s health, but it’s unreasonable to think that a soap will actually emulsify fat.
Another weight loss gimmick are magnets. Marketers will promise that they supress hunger and increase your metabolism. They also make other health claims, which may or not be true. It’s said that wearing magnets near the ears balances the energies in your body, increasing health and a healthy weight. However, the studies that they source can’t be found in any medical journals… You may experience some health benefits if you wear magnets, but expecting it to shed pounds for you will prove to be a waste of your money. Try them out if you like the look, but don’t expect miracles.
