It’s not always easy for a man to work up the guts to approach a woman they’re interested in. In fact, it can be downright terrifying! Once you manage to push past the initial fear that holds most men back and actually make your way over to that girl you’ve been dying to stand next to, you then have to rack your brain trying to remember the advice your brother gave you about what to say to a woman.
Unfortunately, many men have no idea what they’re doing- and that probably includes your brother! Tons of well-meaning guys work too hard to make a good impression and end up looking like idiots!

You’re nervous, but you approach the hottie across the room anyway. To your surprise, she doesn’t blow you off; she actually begins talking to you!
You know that you must hold her interest to get anywhere with her, because she’s the type of girl that isn’t limited in her dating options. In fact, she could probably get with anyone she wants.
So, you try to make yourself look good. You tell her about your accomplishments at work, what kind of car you drive and your newest hobby. All the while, you’re worrying about what to say next and how to make it sound impressive.
She nods politely while you blabber on, but doesn’t seem to be as into the conversation as you are. You call her the next day but she doesn’t answer. Or even worse, she does answer but comes up with a lame, transparent excuse for why she can’t talk to you anymore.
What could you possibly have done wrong?
Well, to be honest: you were probably boring her to death. That’s right – she doesn’t care about what you do at work, how great your car is or your weird obsession with building bird houses.
While you were going on and on about things that you thought would impress her, she was secretly dying to get out of the conversation!
The truth is you don’t have to plan what to say to a woman. You simply have to be observant if you want her to enjoy talking to you.
Notice things about her (keep it non-sexual, of course) that you can ask her about. Pay attention to what she says and what she’s doing, or the conversation will die before you have the chance to get her number.
For example: If she has an accent you can ask her where she’s from and what it’s like there. This could branch off into a conversation about food, family or travel.
If she mentions that she likes the song that’s playing, you can steer the conversation towards anything in the entertainment industry. Topics like these that interest the both of you are what keeps the conversation alive.
The important thing is to actually listen to what she’s saying and pay attention to non-verbal cues from her. You never have to plan and stress over what to say to a woman because if you’re observant, she’ll give you plenty to work with.
